25th February….  Cont….
After a choppy ride back we seek out the pool (for the first time) just to say we have seen it and had a swim.  However, the cloud begins to thicken…..  the wind picks up and the sky begins to rain……  I think its Asia crying for our departure and doesn’t want us to leave.
Lorraine isn’t impressed.  Not least because we have arranged our final evening meal to be on the beach, at sunset, with our own private chef.  Sounds great in the sunshine!  Sound rubbish if it raining!

Well, the rain stayed off and we enjoyed a fabulous BBQ prepared by our own chef….. the only thing was that we ordered a completely different menu to the one we got, but never mind, the experience was great.  We wanted some champagne to really finish of the trip, but at £150 for a £25 bottle of Moet, we decided to have just a glass and stick to the wine!

26th February
This is it.  our last day.  So after a very long leisurely breakie, it’s off to the beach for some last minute tanning (Lozza insists that the previous 5 months haven’t been enough!!) until 12:00, when we jump in our cab to the airport.
Our flight is only to Singapore, where we have a 6 hour wait till our London flight, so, wishing to extract every last second of tourist time, we jump into a cab and head on down to the night safari!!  This is basically as zoo in the dark.  It’s pretty cool as the fences holding the animals in kinda disappear, so you feel very close to the animals.  The best bit was when you walk into a cage and there are massive Bats flying around your head!!!  LITERALLY!!!  Loz spent more time ducking to avoid them than looking at them!  I was very cool and didn’t flinch at all…..  Humm if you believe that!
After our particularly short visit, we jump back into the cab and head back to the airport for our final flight.

27th February
The clouds are grey.  It’s raining.  It’s cold.  We’re home.

Well our trip has been amazing, we have enjoyed every minute, from Africa to Asia, from Cuzco to Chang Mai, we only wish we could do it all again.  But all good things must come to an end, and sadly, this is it.

The waves of time are washing away our adventures, to remain as memories for the rest of our lives, like the………  sorry…. , I have been reading that novel again….

Anyway, this really is it.

The End.

-1 days and we are back to reality…..
